Merry Christmas MSI Jr.

MSI Jr. celebrated the 2012 Christmas Team Party on December 22 at the Red Oil Badminton Court.

The members were able to bond and share their extra talent in dancing, proved their creativity and great teamwork in their Christmas presentations, never to forget the special participation of their loving parents. They made an addditional effort to make this event a memorable and joyous one.

The MSI Jr. Team advances to the National Finals of Batang Pinoy 2012 representing the Northern Luzon Leg. The competition will be held on December 5 -8, 2012 in Iloilo City.

Executive Order No. 44, otherwise known as the Philippine Youth Games–Batang Pinoy, serves as the national sports competition program for children, and is envisioned to address the need for a grassroots sports program centered on values formation inherent in the practice of sports and play.

Batang Pinoy is designed in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Leagues of Provinces, Cities, Municipalities and Barangays. The Philippine Olympic Committee and National Sports Associations, both nongovernment entities and internationally recognized authorities in different sports, shall run and oversee the technical management of the event.

High performing athletes of the 2012 edition of Batang Pinoy shall undergo high-level training for three (3) years.

Batang Pinoy is organized by the PHILIPPINE SPORTS COMMISSION (PSC) in coordination with the PHILIPPINE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE (POC) , the PHILIPPINE BADMINTON ASSOCIATION (PBA),

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Education, the Leagues of Provinces, Cities, Municipalities and Barangays.

Friendship Games 2012

MSI Jr. held their annual Friendship Game on November 30, 2012 at the City Walk Badminton Center, together with their parents and avid supporters.

The Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School (MHPNHS) Badminton Team and MSI Jr. Team, led by its Head Coach and Founder respectively, Rafael Nicolas “Coach Paeng” Dionisio, together with their dear parents spent some time for an outreach to the elderly on November 30, 2012 at the Tahanang Mapagpala II, a home for the elderly, located at Bulihan, Malolos, Bulacan.

 

Fun Run 2012

MSI Jr., together with some parents and supporters, joined the Fun Run 2012 organized by ICP-CMB Fiesta Sports Committee and Vicarial Commission on Youth on November 30, 2012.
